Lunch & Learn – Talk with attorneys Julia Garrison & Lewis Bossing from the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law about M.J. v. District of Columbia
Our informal monthly public policy forum brings together local professionals and advocates for a discussion on topics impacting students with disabilities and their families, and gives participants a chance to share knowledge and resources. On April 2nd, we will be discussing the M.J. v. District of Columbia litigation about mental health services for children in DC with counsel for the plaintiffs from the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law. We will also talk about other efforts to adequately fund and support mental health services for children and youth in DC. For more information about the case, see here, here, and see Washinton Post coverage here.
Lunch is bring your own.
