Dear DC Education Community Member,

We hope you are taking care during this time. SchoolTalk is excited to launch a citywide survey on the use and impact of restorative justice philosophy and practices in District of Columbia (DC) schools. We have enjoyed seeing this work grow since we started in 2015, and appreciate your support with capturing its impact and learning what works.

All responses will be anonymous — no personally identifiable information (e.g., name, school name, gender, race, etc.) will be collected. This survey is designed by and for the use of SchoolTalk/RestorativeDC to refine offerings, advocate for resources, and document the impact of restorative justice in DC. Your honesty is encouraged and appreciated. Please complete by May 16, 2025.

We strongly encourage you to forward this email to folks in your network and schools. We are seeking the perspectives of school-based staff, systems leaders, and nonprofit or university partners supporting DC schools, students, and families.
