Applications for the D.C. State Board of Education’s Student Advisory Committee (SAC) are now open for SY25-26. Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors are invited to apply.

• The SAC serves as the voice of students in the District. Students use their voice to talk about issues ranging from school safety to DCPS and public charter school learning standards.
• Students share feedback and vote on resolutions, interact with State Board members and other officials, earn community service hours, and more!
