This year marks the 4th anniversary of the DC Employment First Summit, and we invite you to be part of this celebration! Together, we will look back on the progress we’ve made, honor the values that guide our work, and highlight the incredible talents that make our community stronger. Join us for an enlightening and enriching experience where you’ll gain essential skills, access valuable resources, build meaningful connections, and explore ways to celebrate innovation, value, and talent in the workplace.
Who Should Attend?
People with disabilities of all ages, family members, service providers, advocates, educators, policymakers, employers, District government staff, and community leaders.
This FREE Summit will include:
- A vibrant resource and networking fair
- Interactive learning sessions
- Opportunities to make a lasting difference in your community
- Refreshments!
Accessibility:
The event will be primarily in English, with interpretation in ASL, Spanish, and Amharic. Captions will be provided in English, with AI real-time translation into Spanish and Amharic. About the Summit:
The Employment First Summit is hosted by the Employment First Planning Committee, convened by the DC Developmental Disabilities Council (DD Council) with support from government and community partners working toward the vision of Employment First in DC.
