Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, Empower DC, and One DC are putting on a free, virtual Know Your Rights this coming Tuesday, October 21st, from 6:30-8 PM. The training will cover your rights during general police interactions and will have a section directed towards residents of public and subsidized housing and their rights when federal officers are on their properties. The training will be conducted via Zoom and there will be simultaneous Spanish interpretation provided. Please spread to your networks and community members you believe would be interested and/or benefit!
