  • This event has passed.

Join the Youth Advisory Council TODAY, February 15, 2021 from from 4:45pm to 5:45pm EST to discuss how to adapt and grow as a young person in an ever changing society. Whether you want to discuss the current political climate, civic engagement, mental health, or academics during a pandemic, this is a forum designed to hear YOUR voice. Our normal is constantly evolving and we need to as well. If you are between the ages of 14 and 22, the Youth Advisory Council wants you to be a part of this listening and learning session.

The goal of “Youth Have Thoughts Too: The Evolving Role of Youth in Society” is to connect young people to support one another through the turmoil of this public health crisis and the horrifying events taking place across our country right now, the history of racial injustice, and the toll all of it is taking on our communities. The Youth Advisory Council recognizes the need for communication and connection among young people and look forward to hearing your ideas, insight, and ideas on adapting to a new “normal” and how we can move forward in an uncertain world.
