AJE’s work featured in DC’s Access to Justice Report & on new Organizing Engagement website

People are talking about what we do here at  AJE!

The D.C. Access to Justice Commission’s long-awaited report, Delivering Justice: Addressing Civil Legal Needs in the District of Columbia, has been released. It is featured prominently at the Commission’s website, www.dcaccesstojustice.org. You can download the full report, the Executive Summary, and also review two fact sheets: one a 2-page summary of the report and the other a snapshot of pro se representation.

You can read about AJE’s work in the education space on pages 99 to 105, including this client story about Ms. Jimenez and her son Juan, who worked with AJE’s veteran bilingual education support specialist Berta Mata to make sure that Juan could go to school.

Our work with the Every Student Every Day Coalition is also featured at the new Organizing Engagement website, where you can learn more about the fight to limit out of school suspensions in DC and other efforts nationwide to increase equity in schools.
