Make your voice heard! How should DCPS spend its American Rescue Plan funds? SURVEY CLOSING SOON

In March 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, which includes federal relief funds to help schools safely reopen, sustain the safe operation of in-person learning, and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students. DC Public Schools (DCPS) is scheduled to receive $191 million in ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to support the full reopening of schools for in-person learning in the fall and ensure students are supported on the path to recovery.

DCPS is soliciting input from the community on how to use those funds.

You can find the DCPS survey here.  The survey is open until May 28th and here is a short news clip about the funding and the survey if you want more information.
