  • Natural History’s Summer Explorations (Paleo Art) (July 27-31)/Registration is open!:
  • National Museum of African Art’s Create Your Own African Superhero: For Ages 8-12. Imagine creating your own African superhero! Attached, please find the flyer to an African superhero contest sponsored by the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. Deadline is August 6th. Create your own superhero using the images inspired by African art.
  • National Museum of African Art’s Stories of Heroic Deeds: June 15–August 15, 2020 (Grades 3–6); Did you make a difference in someone’s life? What is your story? The National Museum of African Art (NMAfA) wants to hear from you. What great deeds can you talk about? Stories will be featured on NMAfA’s website or social media. Send your story (only one submission per person) as a Word doc to Please include your full name, age, and parent’s phone number and email address.
