Call for Volunteers: DC Board of Elections Seeks ADA Compliance Assistants for Upcoming General Election
The D.C. Board of Elections (BOE) is committed to ensuring that all District residents have equal access to the voting process. Accordingly, we are inviting you to join us as an accessibility volunteer during the upcoming elections. Our accessibility volunteers (Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Assistants/Voter Access Assistants) work with the ADA Coordinator to make all precincts operationally accessible on Election Day. Each volunteer is assigned four to five polling sites, to monitor and address any correctable issues that present barriers to voting for senior citizens and people with disabilities. You must be available to attend mandatory training (date/time TBA) and have access to reliable transportation.

Volunteers are paid a stipend.
