The next town hall from Families United to End Racism Against Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) and Families is Wednesday, August 18, from 3-5 pm ET.
The August 18 town hall will be from 3-5 pm EST and will focus on aspects of Black Culture. Note: we have extended the time to accommodate all of our guests and the rich sharing of culture. The session will be recorded.

What is Black culture? Perhaps the question that should be asked is: what isn’t Black culture? Although there are many myths and stereotypes that may attempt to label, confine or distort, the influence of Black culture have helped to form the powerful roots of nearly every aspect of culture in this country.
To begin our town hall, we will enjoy a spoken word performance by artist Sanyu Estelle and then dive into discussions about defining Black culture and explore a few aspects of Black culture, such as books, film, television and athletics.
