Douglass Community Land Trust is pleased to host a presentation by The Equal Rights Center (ERC) on Housing Rights and Accommodations: Disability and Long Covid  via Zoom.

This session will cover what constitutes a disability under the law, what persons with disabilities can request of their landlord, and where to get help if their landlord is not responding appropriately.

Simultaneous Spanish Interpretation will be included, and we can accommodate other languages and ASL/captions if needed.

Registrants will be able to receive a Certificate of Attendance upon request.

With Community Partners: Neighborhood Legal Services Program; Mi Casa; Housing Counseling Services

The ERC is a civil rights organization, established over 20 years ago, that identifies and seeks to eliminate unlawful and unfair discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations in its home community of Greater Washington, D.C. and nationwide; using civil rights testing data to educate the public and business community, support policy advocacy, conduct compliance testing and training, and, if necessary, take  enforcement action.
