It’s important to AJE to celebrate the people and organizations that are also committed to community in the same or similar ways that we are. Which is why were would like to say a big Happy (Belated) Birthday to The Future Foundation and share this information below.

On April 2, 2012, Ms. Aiyi’nah started Super Spring Break.  Ten years later, The Future Foundation is the only trauma-informed youth center in Ward 8! Check out how you can celebrate with them!
The YO Squad (YO=Youth Organizing) has hidden 10 birthday boxes throughout the Great Ward 8. Each box has a cash value of up to $202 (and a commUNITY call to action). 10 Ward 8 teens (15-19) do it like it’s their bday, keep the money, and get commUNITY service hours too. That means being SUPER into Science, Math, Art, Reading and/or Tech.

If not, join us for assistance in those subjects EVERY WEEK DAY!
