Comments Requested on Case Transfer and ICF/IDD Level of Care Determination

There is an opportunity for the public to have an influence on the policy that affects the lives of our loved ones. The DC Department on Disability Services (DDS) is seeking input on proposed revisions to policies regarding Case Transfer and ICF/IDD Level of Care Determination (attached).

Below is a brief summary of each policy.

The Case Transfer Policy is a new DDS-Wide policy governing the transfer of cases from one Service Coordinator or Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to another.

ICF/IDD Level of Care Determination Policy has been updated to reflect the expansion of eligibility to include persons with Developmental Disabilities.

Please provide comments on all documents to Martina Kraemer, Legislative Policy Analyst, Office of Policy, Planning & Innovation by 5 pm on Monday, December 5, 2022.
